GES Gives Details About The Incoming I.C.T Training For JHS & SHS Teachers. [FULL DETAILS]
The Ghana Education Service has formally released a letter dated May 6, 2022 with reference number-GESDG/247/22/124 inviting its teachers to an ICT training.
The letter which is signed by Professor Kwasi Opoku Amankwa, Director General of the Ghana Education Service, has it that, as part of the one teacher one laptop initiative, all teachers are expected to undergo some basic ICT training to help them use the various e-learning resources that have been made available to the laptops.
As a result, the Ghana Education Service (GES) in collaboration with KA technologies (KAT) and Microsoft is organizing a physical training for Junior and Senior High School teachers in the five (5) Northern regions and the Greater Accra region. The training which starts on Monday, May 16, 2022 will be under the auspices of ICT coordinators trained by KAT and spearheaded by KAT champions.
Teachers will receive points for their Continuous Professional Development (CPD) and a certificate for participation upon successful completion and assessment.
All municipals and districts within the said regions are therefore required to make it known to their teachers, and they should treat this information with all seriousness and corporate.
