About The Course (Setting clear expectations with learners)

Teachers we need to set up our classes up front by setting clear expectations with our learners and ensures they understand them. This is not a simple process and consistent reinforcement might be needed.

It is indeed not a pleasant feeling when our students fail to follow set class expectations, it can be frustrating for both teacher and students. However, it is even more important for the teacher and students to set clear expectations together which they can both understand and follow.

When as teachers we do not have clear and set expectations we struggle to teach and students often learn less than they should. This could result in students being less likely to ask questions, engage in classroom discussions, and take academic risks in front of their peers.
