Ghana Teacher Licensure Examination 2025 – New Dates and Fees Announced

The Ghana Teacher Licensure Examination 2025 (GTLE) has officially been rescheduled with new modalities, fees, and examination dates. This urgent notice affects all Level 400 teacher trainees (first-time candidates) as well as resitters preparing for the professional exams.

According to the Teacher Trainees’ Association of Ghana (TTAG), the National Secretariat in consultation with the National Teaching Council (NTC) and the Ministry of Education (MoE) has introduced new arrangements to improve efficiency, credibility, and alignment with modern standards of teacher education.

New GTLE Examination Dates for 2025

• Level 400 Teacher Trainees (First-time Candidates):
  Monday, 13th October – Wednesday, 15th October 2025

• Resitters:
  Monday, 27th October – Tuesday, 28th October 2025 (tentative)

Examination Fees

• Examination Fee: GHC 450.00

• Indexing Fee: GHC 50.00

All candidates are expected to prepare adequately, pay the required fees, and follow official updates from TTAG and NTC.

The NTC will later release full details on registration, structure, and examination procedures. In addition, candidates will be engaged through a series of Zoom meetings organized by TTAG to provide clear orientation and ensure all students understand the new modalities.
