GES Send An Urgent Information To All GALOP Schools. [CHECK DETAILS]

In a letter dated May 5, 2022 with reference number-GES/DD-G/Q&A/22/174, signed by Dr. Kwabena Bempah Tandoh; Deputy Director General, the Ministry of Education (MoE) together with the Ghana Education Service (GES) are implementing Ghana Accountability for Learning Outcomes Project(GALOP) which aims at improving the quality of education in low performing basic education schools and strengthen education sector equity and accountability in Ghana.

Management of Ghana Education Service hereby write to introduce to you Consumer Bureau Limited, a consulting firm contracted to undertake independent verification of results on the under listed Performance Based Conditions (PBC) under GALOP;

  1. PBC 1.2: Number of targeted schools trained in targeted instruction
  2. PBC 2.1: Number of targeted schools receiving first allocation of Learning Grants
  3. PBC 2.2: Number of targeted schools utilizing at least 80% of Learning Grants
  4. PBC 3.3.1- 3.3.5: Timely disbursement of Capitation Grants

Accordingly, management is through the letter requesting all Regional Directors of Education to officially notify Metro, Municipal, District Directors of Education and all Head teachers within their respective districts that approval has been granted to Consumer Bureau Limited to undergo verification activities.
